Ghibtat al-Nazir Fi Tarjumat al-shaykh Abd al-Qdir (The Onlooker’s Delight concerning the biography of al-Shaykh Abd al-Qadir) is a concise outline of the life of al-Ghawth al-Azm. From his early encounters with extreme poverty to his saintly miracles, his humble reclusiveness to his acceptance in Baghdad and beyond, this work offers a moving account of the greatest saint of Allah ever to have existed. Ghibat al-Nazir is the work of the hadith master Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (d.852/1449), author of great work such as fath al-Bari Shah Sahih al-Bukhari.
